1
ARRIVAL BAGDOGRA ONTO GANGTOK [APPROX. 135 KMS / 4 HRS 30 MINS DRIVE)

Welcome to Bagdogra, a gateway to the hill stations of North Bengal & Sikkim. On arrival at Bagdogra Airport, start your journey to one of the most picturesque Hill station Gangtok. The road journey to Gangtok is adorned with picturesque landscapes and lush greenery. Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim. Gangtok is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. It’s one of the best tourist destinations in northeast India for peace seekers and nature lovers. 

Check-in into the hotel and relax.

GANGTOK – EXCURSION TO TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR

Relish delicious breakfast at the hotel and proceed to visit Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet), a high-altitude lake that is sacred to both Hindus and Buddhist. According to the legends, Buddhist used to monks study the colour of lake's water to predict the future. Later visit New Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir dedicated to the memory of the soldier Harbhajan Singh.

After visiting the attractions, you will be driven back to the hotel for a comfortable stay.

  • In case of landslides or any other reason, Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing at Gangtok for the day.
  • Nathula Pass visit will be on direct payment basis because it depends on availability of permit from army and is subject to weather & road conditions. (Supplement charges will be INR 7000/- + GST per vehicle max capacity 05 Pax)
  • Nathula is closed to visitors on Monday and Tuesday.

GANGTOK

After a delightful breakfast by proceed sightseeing tour of Gangtok. You will visit Ganesh Tok which is visited by people since ages and it also offers great views of Kanchenjunga. Then head to the Rumtek Monastery & Dharma Chakra (24 Kms / 2 hrs same will be subject to time permit & traffic conditions) the sect of Kagyu order. Later visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology to see the rich cultural heritage of Tibetan architecture and Buddhist culture. Next, we will visit Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Tashi view point, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom and Flower Show.

At the end of the day after visiting the lovely sights, you will be driven back to the hotel for a comfortable stay.

GANGTOK TO PELLING TOUR [APPROX. 130 KMS / 5 HRS 30 MINS DRIVE]

After a satisfying breakfast checkout from hotel get ready to driver to Pelling. Pelling is a small hill town in the district of West Sikkim, nestled at an altitude of 2150 m. This scenic place is a paradise for the nature lover with the mesmerizing view of mighty Kanchenjunga, and the neighbouring peaks.

On arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax.

PELLING TO DARJEELING [APPROX. 140 KMS / 3.5-HOUR DRIVE]

 

This morning after a delicious breakfast, checkout from hotel and proceed for sightseeing covering Sky Walk, Pemayangtse Monastery – the 2nd oldest monastery of Sikkim & Rabdentse Ruins. 

Later drive to Darjeeling. Darjeeling once known as the "Queen of Hill Stations," now better known for its tea. It is the place of Dorje, the mystic thunderbolt of the Lama-Religion was the origin of the name Darjeeling, which was first discovered by a British Captain Lloyd in the year 1829. It will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature & charming Himalayan people. Surrounded by Tea gardens, this little town faces some of the Himalayas highest peaks. 

On arrival check in at Hotel and relax.

DARJEELING LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Early morning visit Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular view of Mt. Kanchendzonga (World’s 3rd highest peak). Later back to Hotel, after breakfast visit Ghoom Monastery; Batasia Loop  War Memorial; Padmaja N. Zoological Garden (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre (Closed on Sunday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, drive past Tea Estate & Japanese Peace Pagoda. Walk around the Mall and Local Market (Closed on Thursday).

After all the attractions back to hotel for comfortable stay.

Dinner will be served at Hotel.

Tiger Hill visit is subject to availability of permit on 1 day prior.

DARJEELING TO BAGDOGRA [APPROX. 95 KMS / 3-HOUR DRIVE]
